- PyrateJohn (the original PirateJohn) is a good natured scoundrel with a different (some would argue warped) perspective on life. Happily divorced multiple times by women of superior taste and good judgment, ol' John found himself motorcycling around the United States and Mexico and just generally getting into mischief. And loving it. As a man who once applied to the DMV for a handicapped license plate using the argument that a crappy attitude is a handicap, John has sought to maximize enjoyment in his travels and pursuits whilst minimizing aggravation. Life is short; we need to have fun! Now slightly domesticated, John has returned to the work force and has been spending time lately working on his classic Bluebird Wanderlodge motorhome, contemplating the modern gypsy lifestyle. John is a proud member of the Iron Butt Association (long distance motorcycle riders), several other motorcycle touring groups, and has been involved with many charities. Disaster relief is a major interest of John's, along with small press publishing and the whole web communication thang.
